The GoodGood & The Daily Gazette on my dead dog and how i’m coping with the loss and emptiness he left
two thematically conflicting, yet equally sarcastic news spreads
two thematically conflicting, yet equally sarcastic news spreads
A collaboration with Marie You, Andrew Zhang, and Ritvik Bhadury. The GoodGood is a newspaper so utopian it becomes dystopian. We utilized star themes, swashes, and buzz words like “love,” “truth,” and “peace” to build its brand. Created using mechanized pen drawing via Silhouette Cameo and colored pencils.
The Daily Gazette on my dog’s death and how i’m coping with the loss and emptiness he left started tests the limits of processing grief. It presents a messier, angrier perspective on the classic newspaper. Created using red soft pastels and watercolor in addition to mechanized pen drawing and colored pencils.
